Snow Rider 3D Gift Guide: Which Gifts to Take, Which to Skip, and How the Sled Shop Works

Where the gifts sit
Gifts in Snow Rider 3D are placed in lines and clusters between the obstacle bands, not in random spots. A line of three or four along a clear stretch is meant to be taken; a single gift wedged between a rock and a tree is bait. The game does not tell you which is which, but after a few runs the pattern is obvious: gifts on your natural line are free, gifts that need a swerve are a gamble that pays one point.
The snowball tax
The big rolling snowballs follow the centre of the track, and the centre is also where most gift lines run. If you hear a snowball coming, abandon the gifts and move to the edge. Losing the run to collect two gifts is the worst trade in the game.
What the shop sells
The cart button at the top of the slope opens the sled shop. Every sled is a cosmetic ride rather than an upgrade — the physics are the same, so nothing in the shop makes you go further. Treat it as a reward for long runs, not a goal to grind for. Your gift total is saved in the browser, so clearing site data resets it.
The efficient way to bank gifts
Long runs bank more gifts than greedy short ones. A run that lasts ninety seconds on the safe line usually collects more than three runs of thirty seconds spent chasing every box. Ride the middle, take what is on your line, jump the logs and let the ramps carry you over the busy bands, and the sleds unlock on their own.
